

OK, even I have to admit that this is more of an idea than a real development right now. The developer has bought up some wetlands on the northeast side of the Huron River (on River Street) and has devised a plan to get five build sites out of it. Each site will ave a crazy little strip of land right down to the river, so that each can be called and sold as waterfront lots. The problem for the homebuilders may end up being the fact that their stripe of land down to the riverbank is all designated wetlands, which the DNR carefully controls.
