Relocating is stressful. Whether you are leaving the area or just coming into Michigan, let me help you take at least some of that stress away. I’m Norm Werner of The Milford Team  - I lead a dedicated team of Real Estate One employees in Milford Michigan. We have the knowledge, training and experience to help make your relocation go a bit easier and a bit faster, with a lot less stress. We also have the backing and resources of the largest, most successful real estate company in Michigan _ The Real Estate One family of companies - Real Estate One, Max Broock Realtors, Johnstone and Johnstone, John Adams Mortgage, InsuranceOne, Relocation America, Capital title and Home Services One.

Generally, in those townships we list homes for sale. You can see a number of them on the Our Current Listings page. We also assist home buyers all over the Southeast Michigan area, in the townships listed above, plus in Wixom, Novi, Northville, Livonia, Farmington and Farmington Hills, Birmingham, and Bloomfield Hills, Green Oak, Fenton and Howell. If you are interested in getting information about the  communities that you might move to, see my Relocation Search Links page. It has links to sites that will provide you with that information and much more.

In the Milford area I specialize in helping people who might want to get into the Village of Milford, especially those looking for a historic home. The page on Historic Homes might give you some things to consider.  Our office works quite a bit with transferees coming to,or leaving, assignments at the General Motors Proving Grounds. The GM Proving Grounds is the major employer in the Milford area.  For everything that you might want to know about Milford, Michigan, go to our All About Milford  page.

Depending upon where you’re moving to Michigan  from, it can be  a bit intimidating. Here is a link to help you understand some of the the financial factors in making the move - calculators for cost of living differences and moving costs. Of course these calculators work to show you how the other end of your move might impact you to.

If you’re coming into town to look at houses with me, I suggest that you print off my Home Buyers Checklist to use as a guide to comparing neighborhoods and homes that we might see together. After 3-4 homes they might start running together in your mind, so this checklist provides you with a nice way to supplement your memory about each home, for comparisons and review later. If you need a reliable and complete search engine to help you find homes to look at you need go no further than our Home Search Page. It has options to let you search by specific criteria or to use a map-based search. If you are looking for financing or insurance help with a home on this end of a move, our Financing and Insuring Your Home page is a great starting point. If you’re also going to need temporary housing. Let me know and I can help with that, too. I will be asking you to sign a buyers agreement with me, so read about Real Estate Agency and You to understand how agency is viewed in Michigan.

Our sister site for the Milford Team has a great FAQ section  for Buyers and one specifically for First Time Buyers, if you have questions about the home buying process. The bottom line is that we’re here to help in any way that we can to make your transition into Michigan (and hopefully into Milford) as stress free and easy as possible.

In addition to all of the services and information above, you may need things like a car, or a place to buy boxes or a place to get some furniture. We have a set of companies that we’ve checked out who offer a whole host of helpful home services under our Home Services One Program. Go there to see if we have a deal on what you need.

I  live and work in Milford, Michigan. We specialize in the townships of Milford, Commerce, Highland, White Lake, West Bloomfield, Brighton, Lyon, Green Oak and Hartland, in Oakland and Livingston Counties.

Our company works with most relocation companies - Real Estate One has its own relocation company called Relocation America, but we work and have contracts with all of the large national and regional relocation companies, so ask for us by name and your relocation company will probably say OK. Ask for Norm Werner and The Milford Team from Real Estate One. You only get the best, when you ask for the best.
