The Pup-”n”-Tails calendar is a fund raising project that was put together by a group of local business people who are also pet owners. 100% of the funds raised by selling the calendars goes to support the Community Sharing Pet Food Pantry. The Community Sharing Food Pantry recognized the need to help families who are struggling in the current economy fed their family pets, as well as providing food for needy families. The Pet Food Pantry is the first of its kind in Michigan and helps feed over 240 local pets every month. Donations are used to purchase pet foods of various kinds for dogs, cats and other family pets. Peter Barnes and Julie Hass, owners of Veterinary Care Specialists, a local 24-hour a day veterinary clinic headed up a fund-raising committee of local business people.  Well known local photographer Gerry Pas donated his time to do the photo shoots of the pets and donations from the pet owners covered a part of the production cost for the calendar. The remainder of the cost was donated by Carlos Allison, owner of The Digital Document Store. Please support this worthy cause and enjoy your calendar for the entire year.
